Pot of Dreams

I bought myself a "Yummy Mummy" Pot of Dreams in Tesco yesterday. It was an impulse buy. I know I'm not a mother yet but on the way to being one. I'm going to use it to save extra cash for the new wardrobe that I'm going to buy for myself post baby being born. You see I'd put on an extra 2 stone at least before I got pregnant, at least one of which was a direct result of medication I'm on. I plan to shift to "weight-neutral" meds when I've had bambino and I'm also going to go back to Weight-Watchers. Right now I'm mentally so determined to get my figure back. I hope that resolve stays with me. I really want to be slim me again. In the meantime I'm going to try and be careful with my food intake, i.e. not eat rubbish or over-eat simply because I feel I'm "eating for two" - that is rubbish. You're only meant to add an extra small snack, worth around 300 calories, to your diet. I aim to walk every day at lunch time for 30 minutes, go to a pregnancy yoga class once a week, do a 1 hour walk each weekend day and swim twice a week. Here goes!!!

PS. On a side note, something funny happened at the cash register when I was paying for aforementioned pot of dreams and the rest of my groceries. There was a woman there packing the bags for "Water for Cameroon". I knew I'd no cash as I'd scrambled the last of it together to pay for dry-cleaning earlier. Well lo and behold I found a euro in my pocket. Delighted with myself, I proceeded to pop the euro into her bucket. I saw a slit and in it went - accept it was the slit in my money box, not her bucket! Oh we laughed!
